BBC articles on depression are starting to piss me off. Tell me something I don't already know, that isn't blatantly obvious. Depressives are most likely to be dead, by the time a genius idea has been invented to help those at risk to themselves.

What it means
A lack of writing never means that everything is ok.
It simply means, I've just been so flipping busy- and not even in the sense that I'm up and out everyday and all has been intense. It's in the sense that with work, outside work, illness, energy lacking, maintaining a social life and making sure everything is in place.
I asked for it a good month back, where I was I had been busy to the point where I need to sit down and chill. This weekend has been it. It's been sunny, but I haven't left the house any earlier than 3pm.

Freedom - Goldie's latest

Hunger Games vs Battle Royale
FINALLY!
Confirmation that my wonderings are valid (well, of course they are valid, I thought of them and blahh blahh). I'm just glad I'm not the only person who knows about Battle Royale (amazing, I remember watching this as a teen stuffing my face with friends), then heard about Hunger Games and thought, hold on, hasn't this been done already?
T.V show, teenagers. They have to kill to survive?

Without Battle Royale, there would be no 'The Hunger Games' This is the film that started it all'
Whether it's good marketing and PR in 2012, compared to 2000-I hope The Hunger Games (i hate the trailer) doesn't become 'the new twilight' as such (and has been said to, though I can't find the article), because it would be like pissing on a classic piece of furniture, with something from Ikea.

For all the people who are older than me, and complain about their age
I want to remember the fear, I want to remember the promise, I want to remember the nights I wanted to curl up in a ball, I want to remember the people I’m not supposed to remember, I want to remember not knowing myself, I want to remember the moment I started to feel safe and like this life I’m leading is really mine. I’m going to be scared, I’m going to bruise my knees and not know how they got there, I’m going to try to fruitlessly forge a connection with someone who won’t ever get it, I’m going to lose the person that means the most to me and find my way back to them. I’m going to be a twentysomething because that’s what I am and all I know how to be. And you should too. You should love every single moment of this hot mess of a decade. Chances are you’ll miss it before you even get to say “I’m 30".
